Landscaping
This brick patio was made from left over and recycled bricks, the main bulk of which were off-cuts from a "herring bone" driveway. The herring bone pattern, at a 45 degree angle, leaves an excess of triangles and diamonds when finished. The use of such shapes created a stained glass look for this patio, something that would have been very labor intensive otherwise.
A simple walkway made with recycled brick makes a welcoming entrance.
Picnic area with wet bar made from reclaimed lumber and prune drying racks at Dragonfly Farm. The decomposed granite makes a great place to sip a glass of pastis while playing a game of petanque.
